Delia McCabe (PhD) shifted her research focus from clinical psychology to nutritional neuroscience upon discovering nutrition’s critical role in mental wellbeing. Her research into female stress has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, she’s regularly featured expert in the media, and her two books are available in four languages. Using her background in psychology, combined with evidence-based nutritional neuroscience and neurological strategies, Delia supports behaviour change and stress resiliency within corporates, and for individuals who want to optimise their brain health, via online courses, workshops and tailored events internationally. In this episode, Delia discusses the essential fats we need for our brain to work optimally, the prebiotic-rich foods we can eat to help the good bacteria proliferate in our gut, and how our blood glucose levels can relate to our brain health.
